Traditional Desktop Development Portfolio
Before the internet became the predominant development platform, most software was destined for the desktop. This characterized the desktop revolution of the late 1980s and 1990s during which time corporate users and small businesses were empowered by capable software tools that allowed for the creation of all types of applications. RHB was born during this period and continues to develop desktop applications in response to situations that do not merit internet development.
RHB has:
- developed countless process management and organizational workflow applications. These programs help departments and other groups manage and report on information maintained as part of a defined process. These applications are anchored by database management systems such as MS SQL Server, MS Access, and MySQL.
- designed and distributed 'smart' documents such as Microsoft Word and Excel documents which have been programmed to behave like sophisticated applications. The ease of distributing Word and Excel files have made these solutions a very cost effective way to manage parts of an overall data management process.
- created 'data bridges' that connect otherwise disparate processes. These significantly reduce human intervention, duplicate data entry and the problems associated with redundant activities.
